Next Stop - Tagville!
Ya-ya R called this afternoon and we chatted a bit over 'vision boards'. I'm still quite amazed at the response this concept has sparked! People who already have made one, people who have heard about them, and those who have never heard of them before... like me!
After our conversation, I thought a bit about how I had said I hadn't quite actually put anything on my board yet. I had downloaded and printed out the pictures of two goals of mine, but they laid there on the antique student desk by my board...just waiting. So, inspired by chatting with that fellow artist of mine, (that be you, R) I broke out the stuff to create (look out, house!!). I started with this too cute little package of tags... different paper tags for whatever!
Aren't these yummy??
Next time you're at a scrapbook/paper store, check them out!
I chose the 'butterfly' tag for my camera picture and the 'green' for my cabin in the forest...sort of appropo, don't you think?
Next, I wrote about my cabin... and my camera. I also used a stamp to add some words that I felt went with my vision. I glued the picture to the tag, and voila'!
Have you started your 'vision board'??
What visions do you have for you??

What a great start, and so fitting for you. I started one years ago and never went back to it. Maybe this is the kick in the pants I need to get it going. I have a closet full of scrapbooking supplies and "crafty" stuff just going to waste. This just might be the perfect use for it all.
Wonderful! I LOVE the tags very much...PLEASE run out and buy the camera. I swear that BB was just having a deal that if you qualified for a credit card, you would have no interest and no payments for 12 months (and I happen to know a WONDERFUL source for camera advice on exactly what would be good for you...and I am seriously in love with taking pictures with the 10D now...although, I'm sure I could DO better...)
I was just thinking that I should have a "re-do" of my vision boards. Take off the things that I have accomplished as well as the things that are no longer appropriate, and re-cut and re-glue the ones I still want to work on...
I've enjoyed visiting your blog today. I love the idea of a vision board. I actually bought one on sale to use for that a while back and it's still leaning against the wall beside my desk! You're inspiring me to think about how to use it and get creative!
