May Baby

Ten of these toes are 18 years old today....

Can you guess which ones they are?
As if there wasn't enough happening during May Madness, we celebrated one more milestone at this home...Mag's 18th birthday! I acquiesced to her wishes and we are celebrating the day very low-key.... no party, no balloons, no announcements, no cake (if anyone wants some, there's still some graduation cake left in the freezer!). I think we are both a bit partied-out from all of the excitement from the last couple of weeks. So low-key it is! I treated us to birthday pedicures as our little mom-daughter celebration! She has big plans with friends to go out tonight, spend the night at her brother's, then go to church with her girlfriend. She's spending the day the way she wants to, and that seems to be the best present of all!
Happy birthday, my girl! You've come so very far with your sparkly turquoise tootsies..... may they continue to carry you down wonderfully happy roads for many more miles to come! xoxo

Happy Birthday, Maggie!!!

We are in Oklahoma City tonight. Last night we stayed in Albuquerque. Lots of driving, but nothing to blog about yet. Tomorrow we are going to see the Oklahoma City bombing memorial and then on to St. Louis for three days.

Kisses on her blond-bed-headed-head!
I love all 20 of your toes lined up together! Can represent so much don't you think?
To celebrating all our birthdays ahead....to creating emotionally attached memories that have us each in deep peace and of ultimate joy!
Happiest of birthdays Maggi in this milestone of an age!
Adore you both!
